Mr. Andrew Whiting B.Eng Chem/MBA
Mr. Whiting has amassed over two decades of experience in the oil & gas industry having worked at both onsite operations and corporate offices throughout the world. In 2011 Mr. Whiting founded Bront Oil Co. Ltd. initially as a small oil field services company in Hokkaido. Since then serving as our CEO he has guided our company as it has grown rapidly into the well-respected upstream E&P Company that it is today.
Mr. Isami Hayashi BSC/MBA
In his capacity as our Chief Explorations Manager Mr. Hayashi has direct oversight and control of our company’s ongoing efforts to locate assess and develop key oil & gas reserves across the region. Before joining Bront Oil Co. Ltd. at our inception he had served over 18 years in the energy sector working either directly with or in an advisory position with many of the largest names in the industry including Royal Dutch Shell, Kris Energy and Sinopec.
Mr. Genjiro Kogome B.Econ/MBA
Instrumental to the rapid development of Bront Oil Co. Ltd.’s rapid growth in the region, Mr. Kogome brings to our company in excess of twenty years of high level negotiation and trade facilitation experience involving foreign energy companies doing business in Japan and Asia as a whole. Mr. Kogome has held a number of key positions in Japanese oil & gas industry representative organizations and is a long time member of the Petroleum Negotiators Association.
Mr. Damian Slater BSC/BA
There is no substitute for hands on experience when it comes to organizing oil & gas survey and recovery efforts in the most demanding and remote conditions possible. This is what Mr. Slater brings to our side in spades with nearly three decades of experience gained supervising these efforts in the most far flung regions on behalf of companies such as Conoco Phillips and BP. Mr. Slater is usually the first member of our company to set foot in a new operational area and such is the case with our new projects in Myanmar.
Mr. Aleksander Kovolenko BSC
Mr. Kovolenko has been working derricks across the globe for energy companies including Lundin and Total for over 24 years before joining our company in 2013 as our Senior Drilling Manager. Mr. Kovolenko’s role is a crucial one which involves the development of drilling strategies for each new well we dig, each of these presenting their own unique requirements. Much of the credit for our recent drilling operations coming in ahead of schedule can be attributed to him.
